5 Reasons Savers are losing out
We’ve been speaking to people across Ireland to find out their attitudes and behaviours towards money and investing. Our research has revealed that Irish adults are dissatisfied with interest rates on deposits, with two thirds of adults in Ireland reporting they are unhappy with the rate of returns they are receiving.
The research also found that almost 4 in 10 people are now investing their money in order to secure their financial future, with over 50% of people who have invested experiencing a rise in their investment.

Investment Funds Manager at Irish Life, Teresa Carolan notes “Our research shows that many people in Ireland are still not happy with returns on their deposit accounts.
