The Irish Life Early Absence Service is a nurse telephone service designed to provide support to ASTI Salary Protection members who are on sick leave from work and would like some help returning to health.
Along with signposting various support services, each member will receive a detailed nurse report which they can discuss with their GP, Occupational Health Advisor and their employer.
Ongoing support will be provided where needed and if suitable, a small financial contribution will be made towards the cost of physiotherapy or counselling.
You must be an ASTI Salary Protection member to use the Early Absence Service.
You should be out of work for around 4 weeks and/or have been certified by your GP to be out of work for at least a similar amount of time.
You are looking for help to try and return to health, and believe you should be able to return to work in the coming months.

The easiest way to use the service is to email our nursing team at EAS@irishlife.ie. A nurse will get in touch to arrange a suitable time for a confidential call. If email isn’t possible, you can phone the nurses directly on 01 562 5106. They’ll take your details and organise a follow-up call to support you.
