For International Women’s Day this week, we’ve been looking at the value of financial advice for women.

With two-thirds of women reporting that they don’t feel confident in preparing for retirement or loss of income[1], and with financial literacy lower among women than men[2], it’s important to bridge the gap.

The real-world effects of these statistics are stark: less than a third of women over 55 have a private pension, compared to more than half of men[3]. Those that do have a pension average a retirement fund €120,000 lower than men, too[4].

We’ve put together a few of our more relevant articles for women in Ireland: whether you’re single, married, have children or not, there’s something here that can help you.
