Income Protection Claims
To appeal the decision on your case, please contact us in writing. The appeal must be submitted within three months of the date stated on your claim decision letter. You would need to provide detailed up to date objective specialist medical evidence to support your appeal and a report from your GP alone will not be sufficient.
The evidence submitted should clearly indicate the reasons why you are currently medically unfit from following your normal occupation. If such evidence is received, we will carry out a further detailed review of our decision and we may require you to attend for a further Independent Medical Examination or other assessment at that stage.
