Talent Development & Succession Planning Manager
I joined Irish Life in August 2020 as a Human Resources Business Partner during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the organisation was operating fully remotely. Although my onboarding and early interactions with colleagues took place online, the welcome I received was incredibly warm and supportive. I soon realised I had found not just a new job, but a genuine community.
Over the following years, I worked with a diverse range of managers and senior leaders across the business, providing guidance on all aspects of people management. A particular passion of mine has always been leadership development and coaching, and Irish Life has actively supported me in developing expertise in these areas. This enabled me to deliver leadership programmes, work as an internal coach, and ultimately move into the Talent and Capability team, where I now focus on talent development, succession planning and building organisational capability.
What I value most about Irish Life is the combination of opportunity, support, and culture. I have received tremendous encouragement in pursuing my Master's studies, along with the flexibility to balance work, education, and family life.
I believe that Irish Life successfully combines innovation and a future-focused mindset with a rich heritage and a strong sense of belonging. These qualities have made my experience here a truly rewarding and memorable one.
