Education & Opportunity in Dublin 1

    Education & Opportunity in D1

    Education and opportunity in Dublin 1 are a core focus of Irish Life’s community work. Through the global P‑TECH education model, students are given the chance to build skills and competencies that connect directly to future careers. Irish Life has a long‑standing partnership with Larkin Community College, offering Transition Year students experience and insights into the world-of-work and providing mentoring to 5th and 6th Year students. In 2021, Larkin Community College was chosen as one of the Irish Life Staff Charities and employees fundraised €207,000 in support of the school.

    Scoil Chaoimhín

    Irish Life also supports Scoil Chaoimhín, a local primary school, through the Time to Read and Time to Count initiatives. These programmes give children dedicated support with literacy and numeracy, with Irish Life volunteers spending time in the classroom to build confidence and improve key skills.
