Irish Life Assurance appoints David McRedmond to Board of Directors

Dublin, 4 June 2026 – Irish Life Assurance plc has announced the appointment of David McRedmond, Chief Executive Officer of An Post, to its Board of Directors.

Mr. McRedmond has been Chief Executive Officer of An Post since 2016. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of TV3 and held senior commercial roles with Eircom, including Commercial Director and Managing Director of Eircom Enterprises.

He has also held a number of board and chair roles, including as Chairman of Eir and Premier Lotteries Ireland.

His appointment brings further senior executive and board experience to the Irish Life Assurance Board.

David McRedmond said:

The appointment took effect on 8 May 2026.
